Road Patrol News
At Queenstown Primary School, safety is a top priority; that's why we take our road patrol training very seriously.
This week, a number of students from Year 5 to Year 7 gathered to prepare for their essential roles as road patrollers in anticipation of the 2024 school year. Road patrollers play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of their fellow students on the road. They help control the flow of vehicles and pedestrians at our pedestrian crossing, ensuring everyone can navigate the streets safely.
We thank Constable Wayne Park for his guidance and support during the training. His expertise and commitment to our students' safety have been invaluable.
As a token of gratitude, our 2023 road patrollers were treated to a delicious pizza lunch provided by the Queenstown Council and Constable Park. We want to say a big "thank you" for all their hard work and dedication to help keep our school community safe.
Let's continue to work together to make Queenstown Primary School a safe and welcoming place for everyone!
