Ikura | Manaakitia te whare tangata - period products in schools initiative  

We would like to remind everyone that Queenstown Primary School are part of the Ikura | Manaakitia te whare tangata initiative, which provides free period products in schools.

Periods are a natural part of life for half the population, and thanks to this program, the Ministry of Education is making sure students have access to free pads, tampons, and liners. There's enough to cover a full cycle, and we encourage students to take what they need—both during the school term and over the holidays.

Students can get products from the Intermediate girls bathroom.  Don't hesitate to grab some when you need them!
