Room 6 read the story 'The Little Kiwi's Matariki' by Nikki Slade Robinson. 

We enjoyed hearing about all the different ways the birds in the story celebrate Matariki. Then we created some art work to show the stars of Matariki and little kiwi watching them. We used mixed media and enjoyed the many steps required to complete our work.
