Autumn Planting Day

The Year 6 Students and Teachers activated the 'QPS Student Volunteer Army' to complete our Autumn planting when our House Days had to be postponed.

200 native trees, raised in our Growing Unit at school, were added to our planting area at Morning Star Reserve, Arthurs Point on Wednesday.

Grateful thanks to Jo Smith from Wakatipu Reforestation Trust, Nicky Gray from Enviroschool, the awesome parents that helped and the resilient students who completed the mahi.

This is a unique, developing reserve well worth visiting with your family and QPS are proud to be a part of it.
