Deputy Principals Message - 9 June 2023

Kia ora to our school community on this beautiful crisp winter's day. We are excited to share an important property update with you. Today marked an important milestone in a long journey as construction fencing has gone up for work to begin on constructing 10 new classroom spaces, upgraded play areas and all weather surfaces. These new facilities will provide our students with enhanced learning environments and further opportunities for growth and development. We can't wait to see the positive impact they will have on our school community. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work towards creating a better educational environment for our students. More detailed information will be shared over the coming week's as we get closer to finalising the proposed master landscaping plan.

In other news, we concluded our ‘Dots’ Developments of Talent programme today. It has been an incredible journey, and today marked the last day of this enriching experience. We are proud to share that many students actively participated and engaged in the program, allowing them to explore and take advantage of some truly fantastic learning opportunities. A special thank you goes to the group of dedicated parents that have offered their time and support over the last 6 weeks

Ensuring the safety of our students is of paramount importance to us, and we would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone about the importance of using the designated school crossing instead of cutting across the road closest to the bus stopping area. This will not only help prevent any potential accidents but also set a positive example for our students regarding road safety.

Have a good weekend. Find time for yourself and your family.

Justine and Matt
