Middle School Camp at Bannockburn

This week our Year 4 students travelled by bus to the Goldfields Mining Centre in the Kawarau Gorge and explored the old mining ruins and sluicing site. They then travelled to Bannockburn Camp for 2 nights. 

On their return to QPS, they stopped in at the Clyde Dam for an educational tour.

Inside the Clyde dam! Wow! The generators were spinning. We went through the tunnels and saw the slip joint. We learnt how the eels get an Uber taxi from one shade to another.
