Kia ora e te whānau, I am really excited to be following a new pathway at Te Pā o Rākaihautū. I have been teaching and learning for many years in a wide variety of situations from Early Childhood through to Year 8. Last year I studied at Te Puna Wānaka and am graduating in March with Te Hapara – Diploma in Māori Studies.

I live with my lovely whānau at Waikuku Beach where we can enjoy the beach, forest and Rakahuri awa. We also spend a lot of time camping at Lake Benmore, where we meet up with wider whānau and friends – enjoying the outdoors, having no electricity and away from any shops – love it.

It was great to meet whānau at RAPS Hui on Tuesday. I’m looking forward to catching up with whānau so pop in for a kōrero.
