What the Food? - Part 6
We are now using Himalayan Pink Salt in our kai at Te Pa!
Phew its Term 2! - Whats that pink stuff??
We are now using Himalayan Pink Salt in our kai at Te Pa! Pink salt is far superior to common, highly processed and chemically treated table salt.
It is hardly processed at all, hand mined and densely compacted 5000 ft below the Himalayan Mountains.
What's so good about it then?
Pink salt is made up of more than 84 minerals and trace elements;
- It improves respiratory problems
- Balances the bodys ph levels
- Maintains blood sugar levels
- Supports circulation
- Adds minerals lost through perspiration
- Makes our kai taste good!!
- All nutrients are available to our bodies to use
- Assists in healthy cell reproduction

After all the goodness this salt still does contain sodium so we still need to watch how much of it we are using!
