Te Pā o Rākaihautū is a Kura A Iwi, sec 156 designated character school in Christchurch Yr 0-13. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, energetic, experienced, loving and fluent Te reo Māori speaking kaimahi to join our team. Please see below 2026 positions.

Kaiārahi - Teaching Positions

● Kaiārahi – 6 X Vacancies

Kei te rapu mātou ētahi kaiārahi mō tō mātou Kura ā Iwi ki Ōtautahi. Kei te kimi ētahi kaiārahi e pupuri tohu ana, ā, e pono ana ki tō mātou kaupapa, ki tō mātou nei pā wananga. He pā wānanga reo Māori tēnei. Nō reira, me matatau ngā kaitono ki tō tātou nei reo rangatira. Me ngakaunui ki ngā pononga (akonga) me ngā mahi huhua tā te pā nei. He tunga wātea ēnei mā te kura tuatahi me te kura tuarua hoki. Tēnā, tono mai. Aoraki Matatū, Aoraki Matatau, Aoraki Mataora!

Right now we are looking for fluent Te reo Māori speaking kaiawhina, who at their core are pā kids, who understand it is all about connection before content. Te pā is committed to normalising te reo māori in our learning spaces and producing graduates who are proficient in te reo Māori and te reo Pākehā.
We want you to tell us what you are passionate about and how you can incite
passion and excitement in our tamariki.
