In just two weeks our pononga from Te Puna Waimarie will be on the bus to participate in their Winter Sports!

This term has been an exciting time for our pononga of Te Puna Waimarie. Over the past few weeks they have chosen their sports and began practising with the help from their tuakana in Uruao.

For our tau 12 pononga, this has been a great opportunity for their coaching and leadership assessments as well as getting to know their teina. The tau 12 have been learning to write lesson plans and skills required to run a class.

The sports to choose from were Ki o-Rahi, Table Tennis, Netball and Gardening. All the pononga are rearing and ready to get started and show off their skills at Rāwhiti.
