On Your Marks, Get Set, Go!!!

Jordan Cameron —

Te Pā pononga took to both the fields and the streets for our Annual Cross Country Run.

On the 26th of May, our pononga took part in our Annual Oma Roa. We had our tau 1 to 11 pononga participate to promote staying active. Also the fastest from our tau 5 to 8 tamariki would also be chosen to represent us at Zones.

The track for our tau 1-3 stayed inside Te Pā grounds, going around the field and courts. The rest of the Pā, their track went around Te Pā and the block, where the seniors and marshalls looked after the younger ones in public.
