From the end of last term to week 2 this term, Te waka uruao tuakana (tau 13) have been running Mataora for Uenuku.

The lessons have had a variety of activities from dancing, cards, board games and traditional Māori kemu. Uenuku students have learnt new games and enjoyed bonding with their tuakana. Te waka uruao pononga have enjoyed taking a leadership role and being able to organise and implement lessons. This is the last health assessment for tau 13 this year.
Tau 13 pononga look forward to using the skills they learnt from this experience in their future pathways next year.
