She is also one of the founding whānau of both Nōku Te Ao and Te Pā and our first Kaihautū at Te Pā.

Founding Staff 2015

She worked closely with both Te Tautarinui and the Kaiurungi during our important establishment years contributing significantly during this period before returning to her home in Waitahanui to take up a principal role. We were happy when she returned to Christchurch last year and after a short stint with ERO agreed to rejoin our journey in the role of Poutoko. We are even more thrilled that she has accepted the Kaiurungi position. She comes to us well qualified brings a wealth of experience to the position. She is an experieienced principal of both Kura Kaupapa and Kura a Iwi and is well known and loved by pononga, whānau, and staff alike. We  hope you will join us in congratulating and supporting her as she assumes the Kaiurungi role in 2024. We will officially welcome her into her new role in the new year. Ngā mihi o te wā Kirihimete!
