It was a very busy week last week for our Rangaihi team that took the stage for their junior regional competition. 

We would all like to congradulate all of our kaihaka who stood at Te Rangaihi - Waitaha Primary Schools Whakataetae Kapa Haka, poho kererū ana mātou katoa! A huge mihi also goes out to Matua Tohi and Whaea Destiny who tutored our rangaihi team. 

Each and every single one of our kaihaka were beautiful and made Te Pa very proud. We also came back with some excellent results. Our Rangaihi team placed third overall giving them a spot in the National Primary school competition alongside Te Kapa Haka o Te Whanau Tahi and Te Kura Whakapumau Tuakana. 

Special mention also goes to Taiaho Huia who placed first overall for Kaitataki Tane.

We wish our Rangaihi team all the best for their next journey to compete at the National competition next year.
