Ka mau te ihi, te wehi me te wana!

Our pā was proud to host our first Te Ao Haka evening! This evening included performances from all over our pā. From Nōku Te Ao all the way up to our seniors in Te Waka Uruao. We were also very excited to welcome Shirley Boys and Lincoln High School to perform alongside our pā. What a way to celebrate our culture with our whānau. Ka mau te wehi!

The night also included a performance from the kaimahi o Te Pā. It was great to see our kaimahi leading the way and showing our tamariki you never stop learning. Our whānau were also treated to a sausage sizzle and hangi during the break. We hope you all enjoyed your yummy kai and amazing entertainment!

The pononga of year 12 and 13 want to thank everyone for the ongoing support, towards their trip to Tahiti, and another huge mihi to all who stood, for your ihi, wehi and wana. Mīharo, Koutou.
