🦋Karengo🦋
they support and protect the whole endocrine system
My puku has been craving this for weeks since I've been eating on the run for, what seems like, months. And yes, I'm eating the whole lot...because that's how we roll around here.
Sea vegetables soak up poisons and toxic waste, deactivates them and holds onto them until they leave the body - basically the ideal - everything flowing the right way and out of the body.
In the process they leave behind many health promoting minerals and active iodine (antiseptic, antifungal, antibacterial). Not only are sea vegetables a healing thyroid kai, they support and protect the whole endocrine system (pineal gland, pituitary, hypothalamus) and correspond to the water elements of the tinana including the digestive system.
So yes, happy tum.
Of course you don't have to stick to karengo. Unless you have the contacts or know the seasons to collect it yourself, it's ridiculously priced and prone to unsustainable harvesting practices (such as scraping off the rocks which reduces it's ability to regrow the following season).
Shop bought nori and dried sea veggies are readily available.
