Kia ora e te whānau, this year I have been lucky enough to be able to return back to Te Pā as a Kaiawhina in Puna Hauaitu. Im so excited to see what this year has in store for me and all the new experiences that I’ll learn and gain over the year.
When I first came to Te Pā in 2018 I remember one of the first things I said in my interview was how I’ve always loved being around children and it was a natural passion of mine. So being able to return to Te Pā after graduating and to be apart of something i enjoy is such a great opportunity that I’m happy to be part of.
In my own time I enjoy sports as it has always been big in my whānau so I’ve grown up playing multiple sports. I also love the outdoors and adventures and I’m always willing to try new things.
From the beginning of my journey at Te Pā I’ve always felt welcomed and a sense of belonging which helps as I know I have the best support system around. Being able to work alongside some awesome Kaiarahi is exciting and I can’t wait to see what this year will bring!
