Te Pā o Rākaihautū has a no-sugar policy. Luckily, water is free and accessible at home and Te Pā! To save on waste - and dishes - whānau are encouraged to bring their own water bottles to keep with them every day. You can even take it to class.

Living in Aotearoa, we can enjoy the sunshine and protect ourselves from harm by being sun smart. While it is important to be sun smart at every age, sun-smart behaviour is particularly important for children as getting sunburnt in childhood and adolescence increases the risk of melanoma and other skin cancers later in life. Let's look after one another out there!
