Friday 1st of December was our Senior Formal. It was a chance to dress up, and let down our hair.

The kaupapa for the formal was a Winter Wonderland, which was decorated by our brilliant Te Waka Uruao pononga, with the support of Matua Keith, Mauta Jodi and Whaea Terina. It looked amazing, and our teina couldn’t wait to get into the hall to see it.

On the night, everyone looked amazing, the boys in their flash suits, and the girls looked stunning in their dresses. A huge mihi to everyone that supported our formal and allowed us to have this occasion.

With dancing, music and a sneaky game of musical chairs it was a night to remember.

Awards were given for best dressed which went to Ngaru. The Kingi and Kuini went to the beautiful couple Te Rā and Kahia. Ka rawe koutou.

It was a great way to end the year and celebrate our journey.
