Graduate Profile
Rākaihautū was a leader (kaihautū), explorer and creator who shaped the island we live in and personifies the qualities and characteristics we want to cultivate in our whānau.
It is our goal to send out into the world explorers, navigators and leaders who are able to:
Werohia: Think, challenge and explore all that the world has to offer and in this process discover their own life’s purpose, passions and pathways.
Whakairohia: Take action, pick up the ko (digging stick) and confidently carve out their own worlds understanding that it will require vision, hard work and persistence.
Whakarangatira: Take a lead; master their craft; and be chiefly in all that they do.
