A long and emotional journey for everyone, from tackling their first Regional Stage to traveling up north for their big stand at Nationals, these Pononga have given their all in everything they do and poured their hearts into every performance knowing they have the support of everyone at Te Pa O Rakaihautu.

Matua Tauira and Kaiarahi acknowledged our team with certificates and badges in front of the whole school and as they walked up you could see the buzz of the teina as they watched their role models stand with mana and pride as they received their acknowledgements. 

A special mihi to every member of this team for taking your place in the world and standing with the wairua of Rakaihautu, you’re our leaders of tomorrow and the role models for our teina and we couldn’t have gotten a better bunch.
