Thought Leader - Grant Fowlds
The life of a Frontline Conservationist
Christ's College
Tuesday 26th March 7pm
Grant Fowlds is a passionate Conservationist from a dedicated Rhino Family, who pioneered with others a Wildlife project called Amakhala Game Reserve –now a leading Tourism brand based in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. As an Ambassador for Project Rhino and speaker, he has spread the word to an audience in several countries including Consumer Countries of South East Asia. He relates his first-hand experience of growing up in a natural environment with the consequences of 21st century greed for animals in the exploding demand in all forms of animal trafficking. His presentation is centred on the vast increase in rhino poaching in the last decade, where animals are in serious threat of extinction. The presentation climaxes on his personal walk in a rhino project and a race against the theory – ‘endangered means we still have time but extinction is forever’.
Grant will be speaking to any interested girls at school
on Tuesday 26th March 1.00pm – 1.30pm.
More details to come.
