Hakinakina Happenings

Gwen Harrop —

And that folks, is a wrap on Term 1 sport 2025! I am so impressed by the spirit and mahi of all our students, whether they achieved their goal of running the entire cross country course without stopping on Wednesday or standing on the podium in tournament week.

For some of our summer sports it doesn’t stop there! The athletics squad head to Nelson this weekend for South Island Secondary Schools, our Senior A Water Polo team head to Hamilton over Easter for Div 2 NZWP Championships and our ANZAC Hockey Squad head to Auckland to compete in the ANZAC Tournament. We wish them all the very best.
