Whenua Kura in asscociation with Lincoln University and Ngāi Tahu Farming, present the 2019 Poutama Whenua Agriscience Big Day Out Ōtautahi

The event is designed to support rangatahi to have a positive, hands on experience in the growing Primary Industry sector, and connect with employers and educators to:

• Gain an insight into the real world of work, and the wide range of pathways within the primary industry sector
• Get a taste of work in action and an opportunity to hear directly from employees about their own career journey
• Hear directly from employers about the skills and qualifications they are looking for
• Gather information to make informed career and subject choices.
  

The event will begin at the Whenua Kura HQ, 10 Show Place, Addington 8024.

Participants will travel by bus to Lincoln University and a working Ngāi Tahu farm, before returning to Whenua Kura, at the end of the event.

We look forward to seeing you and your students there. Up to 15 Year 10-13 students may attend per school.
