Green Tips - Practical ideas from the Sustainability Council to encourage habits and actions to reduce our impact on the planet

Rosetta Brown - Head of Sustainability —

We encourage our community to walk/cycle, even part of the way to and from school. If you come by car, stop a few blocks away and walk the remainder.

We know that walking and cycling are healthy for the environment and a great way to increase physical wellness, lower blood pressure, and increase your overall mood. Walking or cycling, even part of your commute to and from school benefits the environment by reducing petrol/diesel/electricity use and air pollution. Many staff are modelling these healthy habits.
A reminder to students, you must always use the islands when crossing Rossall Street to ensure your safety.
