Rangi Ruru Coders now Microsoft Certified

Dave Hullen —

Some hard-working coders have passed the Microsoft Technology Associate exam

At the end of last year, some of the senior Digital Technology students opted to complete extracurricular studies towards industry certifications in the technology sector. The course was provided by the local professional development company Learning People and the students studied in their own time and during Global Living. These girls have now sat and passed the Microsoft exam required to be recognised and certified as official Microsoft Technology Associates in programming with web languages.

The girls are (from left) Julia Wakeman, Annie Foote, Tamsin Mills, and Harriet Eglinton.

These four girls are now looking at moving forward with CompTIA certifications in 2021, and a new group of girls coming from Year 11 are considering taking the opportunity – watch this space!
