NZQA have made changes to the credit requirements for qualifications, in addition to changing the dates for External NCEA examinations,

These changes are detailed in the letter from NZQA below.

Essentially, Level 1 students now need 70 credits and Level 2 and 3 students need 52.

Requirements have also changed for subject and certificate endorsements and for University Entrance.
