Feedback gathered via Ask Your Team

Juliet Collins —

Thank you to all parents who contributed feedback, we welcome the opportunity to reflect on what we do as a result.

There were a number of comments regarding reporting on learning; I thought I would detail the opportunities that we currently provide:

Term 1: PDP interviews. Progress reports emailed home followed by three Learning Progress Interview (LPI) sessions (only attend one), including the last day of term specifically for all Boarder and Senior day girl parents.

Term 2: Full written reports for all at the end of term.

Term 3: Junior Learning Progress Interviews (LPIs) (approx. Week 4) particularly for module and option subjects. NCEA current status sheets emailed home followed by Learning Progress Interviews (LPIs) for Seniors in the final week of term.

Term 4: Full written reports for Juniors at the end of term.

In the case of the Learning Progress Interviews (LPIs) at the end of Terms 1 and 3, Boarder parents will have the chance to book first and can book at any session, before it is open to all.

Your daughter’s tutor and Dean will respond to any inquiry at other times and can gather information from subject teachers to share. Teachers and Deans will be in touch with you if they have concerns that need to be dealt with outside these times.

New Initiative for 2020 - Additional Reporting Time in Term 3 for Seniors

In 2020 we will introduce an additional Learning Progress Interview (LPI) on the last day of term, particularly for all Boarder and Senior day girl parents.
