Uncovering the UCAT - Christchurch

Unsure about changes in medical school admissions testing? Come decipher the shift from UMAT to UCAT for Australian med school admissions.

About this Event
Medical and Dental School Admissions across Australia and New Zealand are now based on the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT). The UCAT is a new test based on the British UKCAT, and it’s a game changer.

The transition from the UMAT to the UCAT is more than just a name change. It’s a different test with different challenges. It’s a test which prioritise different skills and demands a markedly different approach from prospective students.

Crimson and MedView are established in offering bespoke packages for the UKCAT/UCAT tailored to your individual needs. Join us and benefit from our industry-leading expertise in medical admissions in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

'Uncovering the UCAT' event will cover:

  • An introduction by our UCAT experts on UCAT Basics, including a detailed look at each section of the exam
  • What's changed, what's stayed the same
  • Which Med Schools are part of the UCAT Consortium
  • Comparing and contrasting the UMAT and UCAT exams
  • Sample questions from our established and expert UKCAT Tutors
