Young Enterprise - The Dragon's Den Pitch
One of the highlights of the Young Enterprise year happens when the teams, who have been working on their very own company ventures, prepare and present a pitch to a panel of judges.
The panel is made up of directors of a variety of Christchurch based companies. They have a marking criteria covering the aspects of ideation, research, analysis, financial competency, leadership and presentation skills.
This year, there were five teams presenting to the judges and, as we have come to expect with Rangi Ruru students, they put on well prepared, polished performances which promoted their businesses in an excellent fashion.
Some of the pitch feedback from our 2023 judges included: "Love the community involvement across the production chain", It's great that you are aligned with environmental practices and focussed on reducing environmental impact", and "Confident presentation".

I was extremely proud of the efforts the students put into both the development of their products and the confident, competent way they presented. It's safe to say, Young Enterprise is alive and well at Rangi Ruru!
