Strong tradition of Lifesaving at Rangi Ruru continues

Term 1 proved an exceptional term for success in the pool with multiple awards achieved at all levels. Supported by a very capable team of senior instructors, 92 Year 9 and 3 Year 10 girls achieved a Bronze Star award by developing skills and knowledge of safe water rescue and survival. Additionally, 8 students achieved success at Bronze Medallion, 3 at Bronze Cross and 3 at Award of Merit. Well done to all!
Special mention must go to Alex Dunn, Chloe Hughes, Mia Roadley, Rosa Blake and Triny Cassidy who continued to strive for excellence by demonstrating a high level of rescue knowledge and skill in completing the Distinction award.
