From the Principal - Week 6

Dr Sandra K Hastie —

This week the girls and staff celebrated LOVE Week with live music, positive affirmations, mufti day all culminating on Wednesday with a visit to school of some gorgeous huskies!

Thank you to all our parents and families who have attended the Parent Evenings over the past few weeks. We hope you have gleaned lots of helpful information about how to support your daughter on their journey with us at Rangi and also enjoyed the opportunity to meet other families and connect with our community. The last of these is our Year 10 parent evening on the 14th March.

It has been lovely to hear all about the girls and staff at various school camps they all seem to be really enjoying themselves. Having these camps at the beginning of the year provides a wonderful opportunity for the girls to really settle and extend themselves by trying different activities as well as learning resilience and team building.

Just a reminder about how important community is for us at Rangi. We love to find opportunities to get together and connect. Next weekend I will be down at the Wanaka A&P Show with some of our team. We have a site at the show itself but we are also looking forward to welcoming any current families, Old Girls and interested families to join us on Thursday 7th March at Urban Grind 72 Ardmore Street from 6.00pm for drinks and nibbles. If you would like to attend or know of anyone please RSVP to m.crawley@rangiruru.school.nz

Also a reminder that the New Entrant PTA BBQ is now scheduled for Sunday 10th March 4.00pm – 6.30pm. We look forward to welcoming all new families to join us then.

Finally we want to wish all of our Rowers, Volleyball, Tennis, Triahtlon/Duathlon students the very best for this weekend and next week’s competitions. There is a lot on around the region and I am sure you will all join with me in wishing our blue and gold girls the very best! #GORANGI
