Hākinakina Happenings at Rangi Ruru

Mandy Anderson —

New Sports website for fixtures, draws and events!

To kick off the winter sports season, we have launched our new Sports Website, which is accessible from the Rangi Hub via the Sports + Draws link, or which you can access via this link https://sport.rangiruru.school.nz/. You might want to save this address in your favourites.

To see at a glance what’s on, where and when, there are a couple of choices:

  • Navigate to the Sports Calendar via the main menu ( Rangi Ruru Girls’ School | Sports Calendar). This will provide an overview of the fixtures, trainings or events that are happening that day
  • Navigate to the Sports & Teams Fixtures & Results from the main menu (Rangi Ruru Girls’ School | Sports, Teams, Fixtures & Results)
    • Select a particular sport and team to see past results and upcoming fixtures.
    • Clicking on the ‘details’ tab under Fixtures for a specific team will provide information on where and when teams are meeting and how transport is being arranged.
    • From any team’s Fixtures & Results listings you can also download the entire fixture list to your personal calendar on your PC or mobile device (such as an iPhone or iPad). Any changes we make to our fixtures will be synchronised with your personal calendar whenever you connect your PC or mobile device to the Internet.

If you visit our sports website on your mobile phone you will notice it loads up as a Mobile Web App. Full instructions for how to get the most out of the Web App can be found online by clicking here.

Finally, the beauty of the new sport website is the alignment with the school calendar. Using the filters in the school calendar, you will be able to select the sports fixtures you wish to follow and sync to your calendar.

We hope you find this platform useful for finding out where and when your daughter is playing.
