Neil Templeton was appointed Business Manager at Rangi in January 1999. He served as Secretary for both the Board of Governors and Rangi Ruru Foundation.

Neil was instrumental in getting Rangi operational after the February 2011 earthquakes. Along with handling insurance claims, sourcing relocatable buildings and many other tasks, he played a major role in the development of the campus new build under Project Blue Sky.

Neil has seen Rangi through some challenging times, including the current Covid-19 event. He was due to finish in early April but as the country went into lockdown he kindly agreed to stay on until his last day, Friday 8th of May.

Neil is a people person and loved getting out of his office whenever possible, not your stereotypical finance person. Neil’s institutional knowledge was immense and he will be missed.
