See our Director of Theatre Arts take the stage!
Peter Rutherford - our wonderful Director of Theatre Arts is taking the stage at The Isaac Theatre Royal, as Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night.
Twelfth Night is a fast-paced romantic comedy with several interwoven plots of romance, mistaken identities, drunken songs and dances, comical fights, and many practical jokes. Separated from her twin brother Sebastian in a shipwreck, Viola disguises herself as a boy, calls herself Cesario, and becomes a servant to the Duke Orsino.
What a fantastic opportunity to see one of the world’s most famous plays and some of Shakespeare’s most famous characters; Malvolia, in her yellow stockings, the wise jester, Feste and the drunken rogue, Sir Toby Belch. “A performance as never seen before”, says director, Derek Doddington. With a top-class cast, Twelfth Night aims to bring out every inch of comedy to attract all ages.
