Helen Calder, past Head of Visual Art at Rangi has been onsite using our Artist in Resident studio to produce large scale artworks and to inspire students.

Helen's work explores the properties and limits of paint as a material taken from the canvas to the wall, often away from traditional supports.
Helens works are held in NZ private and public collections including the Museum of NZ Te Papa Tongarewa and Christchurch Art Gallery.
Helen will speak about her art making at the One Day Art Display later this year.
