On behalf of the Board of Governors, I wanted to write to you and let you know that Dr Hastie will be taking Board approved sabbatical leave in term 2.

Dr Hastie’s sabbatical is in recognition of her on-going service to Rangi, and her last day at school before her sabbatical is Friday 31 May. Dr Hastie will be back at school during the mid-year term break and will be at school to welcome all the girls back for term 3.

While Dr Hastie is on leave, Ms Stephanie Barnett will be Acting Principal and Ms Tania Morgan will be Acting Deputy Principal.

The Board is confident that Dr Hastie’s leave has been well planned, and that Ms Barnett and the senior leadership team will very ably run the school during Dr Hastie’s sabbatical.
