Get Ready for 'Raise Each Other Up' Week

Jess Glass —

'Raise Each Other Up' week takes place next week (commencing Monday, 18 September).

This is the third themed week of the year, and it's loaded with exciting offerings. As the week is all about raising each other and the community up, we have many cool opportunities to give back to a bunch of different causes throughout the week.

On Tuesday, 19 September we're hosting an Arts Carnival for students to relish the lovely spring weather. We're offering delicious spider treats for $3, please note that we can only accept cash for this. The entire lunch period will be brimming with activities such as face painting, rock painting, live music, and celebrating each other's talents.

Additionally, our Community Council is selling ribbons for $2 to support 'A Girl & Her World', a charity dedicated to girls' education in Fiji. Students can proudly wear these ribbons on their blazers to show their support.

On Wednesday, 20 September we're all about having a great time – there will be plenty of chalk drawing fun, and you can groove to some awesome tunes at lunch on Te Koraha lawn.

The eagerly anticipated Green Market returns Thursday, 21 September, featuring an expanded selection of clothing, baked goods, and student-run stalls. Additionally, the 'Thrift your Fit' activity is making a comeback, so be sure to dress in your best thrifted outfit for Thursday.

We are accepting donations of clothing, shoes, and accessories until Monday,18 September. Please note that the Green Market transactions will be cash-only or through EFTPOS, so make sure to come prepared. You won't want to miss out on this event!
