The University of Auckland Entrance Requirement Changes for 2021

Kristen Fox —

To support the future success of senior school students, we'll be changing the entry requirements to our programmes for 2021.

Covid-19 has had a significant impact on New Zealand secondary school students, especially those making plans to start University. To support the future success of senior school students, we'll be changing the entry requirements to our programmes for 2021. We will broaden our entry pathways and place a stronger emphasis on student’s Year 12 results. Table A and B requirements have been removed (suspended for NCEA and Cambridge International) for the 2021 academic year. A more permanent decision on A and B tables is under consideration.

Please see our website for further details of the University of Auckland 2021 University entrance for school leavers including information on alternate pathways such as UniBound and Tertiary Foundation Certificate.

The University of Auckland encourages all students who are interested to study with us in 2021 to complete an application for admission to the University. This can be done via the link at the top of our homepage or the Apply Now page on our website. If you have any students who need help with this process, please let me know so I can assist them with any questions they may have.
