Milk bottle tops need to be separated from bottles for recycling.

To avoid contamination, plastic milk bottles must not have lids on when they are put in the recycling bin. The lids can not be recycled in Christchurch facilities. Instead put the coloured plastic tops in the red landfill bin or collect them and drop them to our Rangi Reuse Depot and we will pass them onto preschool or Creative Junk to be used again.
