Welcome to Term 2

Stephanie Barnett —

It was a thrill for tutors to reconnect with the girls in Hui and Whānau Times this week and to catch up on some of the highlights and some of the worries that were shared. It was so heartening to hear how much they have enjoyed the unexpected additional family time with you.

A choppy sea can be navigated.

We will work together so that your daughters feel able to manage the varying calls on their time and resources, know how to access the support available, maintain a healthy balance in their lives and keep connected with each other and with their teachers. Flexibility and responsiveness are fundamental aspects of our Level 3 structure and your daughters can be reassured that they will not be ‘left behind’ as we all try to do our best in these unusual circumstances.

Thank you for supporting our messages to the girls by ensuring you all take time to think positively and creatively, to work hard, to relax and reflect, to play and to enjoy being together as well as having time to ourselves. We are looking forward to seeing the girls really develop those vital self-management skills and to appreciate having agency over their learning.
