Be You, Belong, Be Safe

Stephanie Barnett —

We are so looking forward to having our Rangi community together again on Monday.

Starting with the gathering of Harvest Festival offerings at the front of Te Koraha, we will then join together – avoiding personal contact and at a safe distance form one another! – to share our gratitude and to welcome everyone back.

Whānau Time will follow where all students will have the opportunity to reconnect, check-in and reflect on what we’ve been part of, through listening, discussion and a range of activities which have a strong focus on wellbeing and positive psychology.

Then following the break, we will resume with the Remote Learning Timetable for the remainder of the week.

Next week, school hours reflect the Remote Learning programme of 9am-3.10pm. Should your daughter need to arrive earlier than 9am, the Gibson Centre will be open from 8am-5pm. After 5pm, any students needing to be picked up must go to the Boarding House (Rhodes St).

Our messages about hygiene practices are clear and simple: maintaining physical distance so that they are not breathing on or touching each other; coughing into your elbow and regular hand-washing and drying and/or sanitising. And if you are unwell, please stay home.

Dining Room:

A reminder that the Dining Room is only available to Boarders next week. Please ensure your daughters come to school each day with enough to eat and drink.

Winter Uniforms:

A reminder that if you have not yet had the opportunity to purchase Winter Uniform items, your daughters are welcome to arrive in full summer uniform or sports uniform, if it’s particularly cold.
