Thanks to House of Travel Merivale for their recent support of our sustainability projects.

When you purchase holidays through House of Travel Merivale and mention you’re a friend of Rangi Ruru you’re also supporting the school. A percentage of the income it earns from bookings made by our Rangi community is given back by way of sponsorship. Most recently House of Travel donated $1,500 towards the School’s sustainability projects. This money will help with the vegetable garden project where vegetables are grown and gifted to local Women’s Refuge/Battered Women’s Trust Merivale safe houses. It will also support the Eco Action Nursery which is a joint project with Christ’s College and Shirley Boys’ High whereby a team of dedicated students and staff are growing native trees onsite and then planting them in the red zone. The goal being to have 10,000 trees planted in the next three years. A huge shout out to House of Travel Merivale for this fantastic support and also to staff, family and friends of Rangi who are choosing House of Travel Merivale for their travel.
