NCEA for the Uninitiated - Wednesday 14 October

Years 10 & 11 Parent Information Evening

NCEA can seem like a foreign language to the uninitiated. Join our Assistant Principal - Curriculum, Juliet Collins, for an evening that will provide parents with an understanding of:

  • What NCEA is
  • How the NCEA qualifications work, including the blend of internal and external assessments
  • How the credits work
  • How the flexibility of course construction works

You may have some prior knowledge of the current system but have questions, or this may be your first experience with NCEA.

Wednesday 14 October
6.00pm to 7.30pm

Spring Soiree

Every year we like to bring our Rangi whānau together socially to celebrate our community and this year (of all years) is no exception. This year we bring you Spring Soiree. With incredible tunes from the talented Holly Kimber (Class of 2013) to commence the evening and wines from Black Estate, Giesen and Wairau River, this really is a night not to be missed. Tickets cost $30*. On arrival you will receive two complimentary drinks, canapes will be served and a cash bar will be available later in the evening. This event is for parents and caregivers of current students.

Please join us from 7.00pm - 10.00pm on Friday 30 October, in the Science Centre at Rangi Ruru for Spring Soiree.

We can’t wait to see you and toast/reflect on this extraordinary year so far.

Purchase tickets here.

*Should this event not go ahead due to a change in Covid Alert Levels, the price of your ticket will be fully refunded.
