Prize Giving 2021

Emma Hanson —

We are looking forward to our 2021 Prize Giving on Thursday December 2.

As you will be aware, due to the continued impact of Covid-19, our Prize Giving will work in a different way to usual this year. We will be hosting two events on-site at our St Andrew's Church (one Prize Giving for Years 7 to 11 and one Prize Giving for Years 12 and 13).

With the exception of Year 13, it will only be award-winning students attending the events in-person. We will be warmly welcoming whānau and our wider community to join us virtually for Prize Giving this year via our live stream links that will be sent out next week.

Parents and caregivers of Years 7 to 12 prize-winning students have been notified.

Year 13 prize-winners as per tradition, remain a surprise until the evening itself. Therefore, we strongly encourage all Year 13 students to attend their Prize Giving and for whānau to tune into the live-stream! Please ask Year 13 students to keep an eye on their Teams messages as they will receive further information and instructions next week.

Our students and team here at Rangi Ruru have worked hard to deliver a Prize Giving to celebrate the success and achievement that this year has seen and to share some outstanding performances. Although not delivered in the conventional way, we do hope that you can still join us, online, for this joyous and uplifting occasion.
