From The Principal

Dr Sandra K Hastie —

Our school value of Aroha has been displayed across our community this term with our student leadership team coordinating the writing of the word Aroha on the Field to end the final week of this term. Please see the attached video which shows our school community is in good heart.

‘We Are One’ was a day to show our love and support for those affected by the Christchurch mosque attack on the 15th of March. Together as a Rangi community we created the word AROHA which is one of our School values. The girls dressed in bright colours to symbolise acceptance of all races, beliefs and cultures. We held a bake sale at lunch time and with the funds from that and the mufti day, we raised over $1000 for the St John Charity.

Thank you to all the parents and caregivers who visited this week and met with our staff to discuss student LPI’s. It is so important that we work together to support your daughters and it's a great way to stay connected. Further afield some of our Rangi community is travelling abroad and we look forward to hearing all the wonderful stories from our 22 girls who are travelling with Jeremy Thin, Tania Secker and Steph Barnett to France, Rome and Belgium on a wonderful Classics trip.

My best wishes to you all for a special and restful time with family and friends over the Easter break and school holidays.
