During Term 2, Year 7 have been studying “ Forces and Flight” in Science. On Monday the 27thMay we visited the new hanger for the New Zealand Flying Doctors and Westpac Rescue service, an opportunity that served to extend the concepts our girls had been studying.

Last week, Rangi had the most wonderful opportunity to hear Dr Jane Goodall speak, thanks to the Jane Goodall Institute New Zealand and the University of Canterbury Community Engagement team.

Experience the exciting world of science at UC and find out what university life is really like.

This month working bees are from 2pm-4pm on Sunday 9th June and Saturday 29th June. Please meet at the (upper) Waterfall Lookout to help with planting new seedlings.

Please donate clothes in good condition for the Sustainability Council's Green Market. This event including a second-hand clothing sale will take place on Friday the 21st of June.

Amazing opportunity to support world vision! Donate to girls who are participating, a little goes a long way in supporting the children refugees from South Sudan. The school's fundraising goal is $5000.
