On Friday 13th September and Thursday 24th October Rangi is hosting a father/daughter breakfast and a mother/daughter breakfast to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Cancer Society respectively. We will raise funds through ticket sales and through a silent auction, but we need your help.

The Junior Learning Progress Interviews are Tuesday 20 August 4.00pm-8.00pm.

On the 1st of July, 2019 Poppy Blake-Manson, Bridget Maw, Emma McCusker and Ruby Moore went to the University of Otago to represent Rangi Ruru in the South Island Brain Bee Challenge.

Christ's College and Rangi Ruru are collaborating on an Eco Action initiative, growing and planting native plants locally. Both schools have established nurseries onsite and students have been potting seedlings.

In 2019 NZQA will be offering 14 subjects digitally, across NCEA levels 1, 2 and 3, with the range of subjects set to expand in 2020 and beyond. In total, 35 standards will be available digitally in 2019.

Over the July school holidays I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to attend CASE space school in Houston, Texas.

Term 2 holidays were something to look forward too. Holly, Shahd, Greer and I were off to Space Camp with 40 more people.
