RHS —

Another year of Rangiora High School staff noticing students doing great stuff has whizzed by and is nearly at a close. This is a perfect time for us to reflect on all the great stuff our tamariki have been up to.

Sports day, summer fest, winter fest, relay for life, showquest, head shave, speech competitions, quiz competitions, bake sales, market days…. The list goes on. That is without mentioning students work hard in class, on the sports field and in the cultural area.

Staff have been busy too, recognising all our students' efforts. To date this year our staff have given out 15, 904 recognitions. Us in PB4L land are pretty sure by the time school is finished for 2021 we will have given out 16, 000 recognitions. Our badge ceremonies have been hampered with covid this year. But we have still handed out 91 bronze badges and 28 silver badges - top effort!!!

So this bring me to some important numbers for you to digest

  • The teacher who gave out the most recognitions was - Mrs Lisa Walker, who recognised students 543 times doing something great.
  • House recognitions -
    • Rutherford 3055 recognitions
    • Sheppard 2856 recognitions
    • Mansfield 2614 recognitions
    • Ngata 2542 recognitions
    • Lydiard 2517 recognitions
    • Hillary 2424 recognitions
  • The student with the most recognitions this year was - Alyssa Grigor with 62 recognitions
  • The wananga with the most recognitions this year was - 9RKSG with a whopping 562 recognitions!

The PB4L committee would like to thank all staff for continually noticing students doing great stuff and for students for continually doing great stuff.

Seasons Greetings and Happy Holidays.

See you in 2022 for to share more PB4L legends
