Mufti Days

RHS —

The dates below are pencilled in for our annual mufti days which are used to fundraise for community, national and international charities, and to help students in our school as well.

Our international focus is World Vision where we support three children and their families in India, and Myanmar. The school has had this relationship with World Vision for over 40 years and we are proud that we have been able to support education, sanitation, and agricultural initiatives for these children, their families and their villages.

The community mufti days are used for charities such as Foodbank and another which student leaders will choose. There is also one mufti day to help our national sports'/cultural representatives.

On occasions when there is a disaster, e.g. tsunami, fire.

On mufti days students have the option of bringing a gold coin to wear mufti/themed mufti. Students are not compelled to participate.

Mufti should be tidy and appropriate to school. T-shirts with alcohol/drug messages are not appropriate. If students are going to be in technology rooms/science labs they should bear that in mind in terms of what they choose to wear ie jandals.
